I will be the first to admit that I speculated this intersession before I joined. And to be honest, I was pulled in by a freind, im not a big video gammer. But, however, my oppinion began to change. I was actually productive, and played very little games. In fact, there were some days were it took me all day to write the perfect blog, and I did that while listening to music and letting my creative juices flow. What I also liked was before entering I had no idea how to create a blog which in my oppinion due to todays technology phenomena is pretty essential. Now I understand how to make one and is simplier than I expected.
Actually, I feel like blogging could become a new hobby for me considering I enjoy free writing. Another atrribute that was awesome was our guest speaker Alan O Brian came to visit us, he is Senior Advisor of animations for Rockstar and he gave us an insight on the experience. I also had fun with making the magazine and look forward to seeing the final product. Video games ar a form of art, for some people, they are enjoyed because they see that art, (drawing, role play, ect.). For others, they require thier attention to detail so the gammer could be effective, and in some cases a good leader (decision making, thinking logically). So all in all it was fun and productive, and allowed some classmates to bond through these video games.
